At The Free House, we pride ourselves on being a unique haven for craft beer enthusiasts. Untied to any brewery, we serve as a gateway to the diverse and innovative craft beers crafted across the nation. Our journey began in the early 2000s with quarterly beer tasting events, the Nelson Beer Fêtes, born from our desire to bring vibrant flavors to a thirsty community. When the opportunity arose to transform an old Reformed church into a pub, we seized it, and in April 2009, The Free House was born.
